Steamboat has some nice terrain but theres only one mountain to hit up while you're there. If you go to summit county you have a choice of 7 mountains. On a powder day steamboat would be your best choice tho, I went in early Dec. and got fresh lines all day, of course it was early december tho.
'I would be embarrassed to constantly complain about my life considering all the freedom and opportunities we have today. People that can't find anything they enjoy in life simply aren't giving it a real try.' ~Nick 311
if you go to steamboat. you could always go to vail or beaver creek its only like a hour and half from steamboat to vail not bad.. or do the summit county thing. or there is the aspen thing. or the vail, beaver creek route. either it should be awesome...
if you go to summit your pretty central to everything. stay in Silverthorne and if you have a car it's like an hour to Vail and Beaver creek. ten minutes to A-basin and Keystone, twenty minutes to breck and an hour or so to Steamboat.
copper is sick cuz they have crazy jibs and everything else. vails park flows nice and they have a really accessible chair for pretty much just the park.
'O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us, nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon you.' 2 Chronicles 20:12
nothing in colorado touches breck's park, but it has been said many times before that their mountain sucks. vail has a really good combination of everything, but i hate the town. aspen is nice, but kinda far.
I live in steamboat and the pipe, even though the pipe is long as crap, is nice and if you can find me, rasta headband and rasta goggles, ill show you all the nice tree jibs
names Scotte im at the park almost every day, un less theres a comp somewhere else
