so its been like 5 years since ive been to steamboat(I now smoke ha ha) and Im gonna be there with my family from Dec 30th to Jan 10th and was trying to find some info on some smoke shacks. i don't expect anyone to post detailed directions on this thread because that is stupid, but if anyone is gonna be out there and wouldn't mind showing me a couple, or droping a shack map my way... That would be sick. I can only handle so many blue cruisers with the family before I need to sneak into the trees for a safety break.... Im sure there are a few up in Xmas bowl but any help would be great+++ Karma or just pm me with some directions works too.

ive def seen some but i couldnt tell you where they are, ive just sort of run across them
 
this has nothing to do with steamboat - but I live in Rossland, BC and it's history runs deep in mining. As a result we have all these mine shafts around town and up on the hill. We just go into a mine shaft to blaze. Get all stoned and explore.
 
ahhhhh i get it now. me and my cousin found this hut in the trees with benches made of snow and stuff. at the time we didnt know what it was but now i know. there was one right off the gondala when i went.
 
I'm in Steamboat now (Feb 22- Feb 29) with my friend and his family and we're in the same situation... If someone can hook us up message me. We'll be on the mountain tomorrow.
 
yo just come to winter park and mary jane, pretty much every patch of trees has at least one hut. theres like over 40 here.
