how is the public park in august? and on the mt. hood website i was reading about a ten day pass i was wondering if that was just for the winter or for the summer to?

You were probably looking at the Mt Hood Meadows site - you want to look at www.timberlinelodge.com for summer park info. I don't think they have any pass deals this year.

so while we're talking about the park, how is it right now? small , big, lots of jumps, lots of rails, jibs, ect? jw cause i heard about high cascade having 2 parks this year so ive been wondering how that was gonna work out with the public park

Apparently they are closing it down later this week for a rebuild. I rode through on my way down from the summit on Saturday morning there were just the remnants of the quad jump line and a flat down gap box setup. They had reopened the pipe, though.

are you serious?! i was gonna head down there and ride for 2 days on thursday and friday! damn, this is going to be super lame if thats all that they have up or if there is nothing at all

It says on the Timberline website that they are closing the mile park on Tuesday, July 15 for a rebuild and it will open again on Wednesday. I think you are fine if you come up on Thursday and Friday. It actually might be super dope again - they haven't done a full rebuild since they set the park after Memorial Day weekend.
