Well done.

The shot at the end looks like Denver's new convention center. If someone really did fall from there it would be crazy...it's very high. At the same time, it's rather stupid to hit the rail closest to the edge as that staircase is super, crazy wide,with at least 6 rails running down the entire thing...why wouldn't you hit the rail in the center?

No offense to the kid if it's real, but it looks fake because:

1) There's no jump up to the rail

2) As hes falling he doesnt move at all, no one is perfectly still when theyre falling from a 40 foot staircase

3) He has no forward momentum, hes falling straight down, makes me believe he wasnt sliding the rail.

4) Theres lightposts on the railing so it's impossible to slide.

5) Who in the right mind would ever attempt something like that.

But maybe I'm wrong, never know.

Yah, Cruz good call. I had a long explanation about why I thought it was fake too, but then NS did its refresh thing and I lost it...decided it wasnt worth re-typing.

Anyways, I think the key thing is that he isnt moving a muscle. He's falling like a lawn chair thrown off of a deck. Plus, it is VERY easy to make something like this in premiere.

Also, they show nothing except AFTER he has "fallen" and in mid air, two a few frames after than where he is still "falling". i think it's bogus.

i actually liked it a lot. the song was fun, and that guy at the end was scary. loved the shot of the guy in the window on the urban down... and the 360 (ish) switch up on the Leystone roller coaster. sick. nice work.

i dunno if its real or not... but i have seen the rail, its doable, no light posts... also, those were damn real screams... plus there were 2 stories in the papers about handrails, one guy died in breck on a rail because he wasnt wearing a helmetn, the other guy got severe back injuries and like a lasserated liver or somthing bad...

but on the other side, that was a pretty stock trailer, good editing, but the tricks werent that crazy or great! like they were good but not that awesomley awesome... then all of a sudden, comes the worst crash ever...? that rail was so nuts... and also, who in their right mind would try that...?

i think it is real because of this:

first they cuould have been sliding that rail as a down rail, this takes care of that light in the way thing and of how ridiculously stuid it would be to try a rail that long.

next there is a guy taking a pick or something and i dont think they would have thought to edit that in if they were faking it

third it looks like he broke his left leg very badly and his screams are convincing but that is just my take on it so whatever

Yeah for a trailer i want to see some sicker stuff...highlights were slim with 270 disaster, gap the trap, two hits in pipe and one or two of the jumps but not that one 5 w/ fisheye

^dude when you are in shock you react differently than you usually would. If these guys actually made this up, they pulled off a crazy scam to create publicity for their movie. But i doubt it. if it werent for the crash, it would be really a mediocre teaser.

I think that i see a jump at the very top, almost cut out... and also the lamp post as somebody else said could be far away from the rail, just the camera angle makes it look like its right in the way. Also as for the flailing it happens so fast (like what, 2 or 3 frames?) that it is still pretty hard to judge.

I definitely wana know the story behind that though.

The guy does have forward momentum just watch as he starts to the right of that pillar, then slowly moves a cross to the left side of it, its almost as if he slip out on the kink (the down to flat) because he was leaning back so much because he didnt wanna catch an edge. I donnoif its real or not, looks sick (in a gross way) cuz i think he fail on a fence. BUt it might not be real and im hopin its fake for that kids sake.

i think its a great way to get people to buy this movie, if u watch it very closely when the the dummy fell u can see he would have fell on his head because its falling down and his head is goin right into the ground, no one would survive that sorry.

good trailer for a low cost movie, liked it alot but u didnt need the fall at the end!!

that said the fall at the end IS a fake. If you watch it in slow motion you can see that the image of the skier is just superimposed. The falling skier is still as a board as he falls. Nice ploy to get people to buy ur movie though
