Starting park but still want all-mountain, what should I get?

first post so please be gentle...

bit about myself: 5'11, 160lbs, east coast, competent but not expert skier(to give a better image, I can do cascade at Killington fine but those double black mogul trails can kill me easily). Always on-piste and not interested in trees. on-piste moguls are on the list but comes behind park I think.

Started to learn a bit of park recently and I think I may need a pair for next season since I'm expecting to be 60%-70% mountain and rest park during a normal day. In park I'm more interested in jibbing, not so much in jumps/flips etc, I'm happy with just spinning maybe 7? Past the age of fearless charge already...

Currently using a pair of Elan waveflex 8 on 168cm, good for carving and east coast hardpack/ice stuff and not much else.

What I'm looking for: sth that still works all-mountain but with a bit emphasis on jibbing in the park. Thinking about Volkl step/kink, line a-bang/chronic. Any suggestions? given my weight and considering this one could be my 1-ski quiver I'm more likely to take squire schizo as binding so I can center it for park while pushing back for mountain.

Any info/critic/suggestion appreciated!

If you want to spend the money for a starting ski I would highly recommend the Line Chronic, never heard anything bad about them. everyone on NS loves them and they will go anywhere on the mountain and still have the ability to keep up with the only park skis!

Final Word: A little more on the expensive side but an amazing ski that does anything you want it to!

so what size should I be looking at? I've read here that someone 5'11 tall is riding 178's, but given my weight(which is light for 5'11), I'm thinking 171...my elans are 168, and I figured given twin-tip 171 should be fine.

Depends if you want a fast stable ski or a short one that is easier to spin and obviously easier for tree runs anything in 170 range

Don't get the abang for all mountain skiing. The chronic would be a good choice for the east coast. Or maybe look at the armada ar7

Yeah armada ar7, I have some centered for full park. Looking at some thalls. But yeah get armada ar7s like -2.5 back

ya i just started park and im not interested in jumps, id be fine with spinning a 7

lol guess that shows how "beginner" I am for park. What I wanted to say is that 7 is my ultimate goal or sth along that line. idk...maybe im still in that first phase where I haven't realized how hard it could be.
