Well for a little over a year now I have been making tall hoodies to my selv and my friends. And now I want to take this one step further.
CREATING MY OWN BRAND
And I need help with name, I have been thinking of name for a long time, but everything that is good is taken and I can't find something that I really like! I DON'T WANT ALL THE GANGSTA - STEEZE etc etc names.Because it's going to be street style clothing in tall size's.
So NS members come with namesK+ for names and help
Check MyProfile for pic's of hoodies. And more hoodies will come this week.

Oh Sorry, forgot to say.I'm not going to sew the hoodies my selv.My plan is to get the hoodies made on a factory and start big.Making Hoodies, Tees and other stuff.

Nope. I'm 17.And in some week time one guy I know are going down to his factory with some designs and sizes that I have made, and they will make some sample hoodies to see if that is the size and quality that I want.

why the hate? this person is just trying sumthin new and make sum money that doesnt make him 12 cuz he is sayin its made in a factory

If you want to create a company, you're going to need to start with proofreading your posts...

Get back to us with pics of the mockup clothing when it's done. I think you should create your own brand name. If you're creative enough to make streetwear that actually sells in the midst of all of these small starting outerwear "companies" then you should be creative enough to make up a name. That being said, there's nothing wrong with running a few names past NS so you can get some opinions on your ideas.

Please learn about running and operating a business before you start. It's not just as easy as having designs, getting them made, and then selling them. Also creating your own fucking name. If you can't think of a name yourself you're bound to fail. Take some time and learn what it takes to get a solid business going and not just start because you've sewn a few hoodies and sold them on NS.

Do you have any idea how much work it takes to create a business? Do you have a business plan, funding (Then double it and add 10%), capital, insurance, employees, designers, lawyers, business consultants, accountants, bank accounts, DBA/L.L.C/Corporation (Which kind of corporation), market research, advertising plan, target demographic, samples, manufactures, office supplies, computers, programs, printers, phones, internet, office space, storage, transportation, salaries, plan for future expansion, trademarks, patents, website.

You have no idea what kind of work you have ahead of you.

get an ill team, make your website classy and sick, and make sure that your marketing is on point and you will be fine. make sure your team riders are the kind where NSers would gargle their ball sack if they had the chance. example: First Drop Outerwear (last year was their first year in production). They picked up LJ-->game over you kids were sold.

3 basic things for name/vision:

name should be a short version of what you are (with the logo being a visualisation of that)

slogan should be a one-sentence version of what you are

vision/mission statement should be a paragraph about what do you want to accomplish as a company.

i know it sounds dumb for a small/one-man company, but take your time and work these things out. its impossible to do anything without that.

Why all the hate?I know what it takes to start a company.Yes it's allot of work. But I got allot of people helping me out with designing of web page and logo.I also take classes about marketing, company development etc etc.All I want is help with name, suggestions so I can start on designing the Logo and find out different things like print, where to put the logo, web page and stuff.
And I don't need tons of employees and stuff if I just want to start a web shop?

No, you really don't have a clue. You can't even come up with a name for your company. It's not hate, it's reality. Investors will laugh in your face if you can't answer any of those questions. Quit taking it personally. It's only business.

i have a logo for you

one thing to remember: the whole world is your customer with a webshop, but the whole world is a competitor too.

and the hate was brought on because you seemed a little uninformed. but now you cleared that up.

He's not going big, we all know that, so in his case along with every other kids that had this idea, it is as simple as you say. All he needs to do is sell them for more than what they cost him and hes golden.

I've already made myself way cooler hoodies with crazy different angle or patterns and stuff. Then obviously the super easy straight ones.

Theres a billion people making these for themselves. Sorry to crush your dreams

What do you think of Fresh Clothing or Fresh Apparelsand have something like "keeping it Fresh" printed on the hoodies and bottom of the tall tees?

im thread jacking you..so ive been making shirts with a friend and we are debating on if it is worth making them so tell me how you like these

idk, i think they are ok and people would wear them but i hate how everybody and his mum uses this font, you know, like in the last pic, like it was 100 years old and it had a little wear and tear. bullshit, its a font, its a logo of a shirt brand, why would it have stains/"age spots"?

this is not a good connotation for a shirt brand, sorry to break it. you would want something representing your values, not just something funky.

First is kinda weird.

Second looks like a gay pride shirt.

Third is pretty nifty.

Fourth is not that appealing.

hahahaah and still no legit names. lol funny ones tho. uhh how about "steeze clothing line" alot of people say steeze now not just skiiers. or what about "newschool clothing" or "hate clothing" cause of all the hate one gets from doing something other than sitting on there ass calling firsts on a dope video lmao like does no body ever listen to all the rich people these days on teen cribs and stuff ALL of there parents are mostly "entrepenuers" which is starting your own business from the ground. start it young, if your stuffs legit and it holds up you'll be good. just keep up on styles. be origiinal but dont copy other designs. and dont sell anything for 50-60 bucks a hoodie...cause untill your name is out thre no one is going to place an order with no gaurentee they will get it... if its cheap people will try it out. and have a deal when you first open. and be a legit clothing line... like buy a T get a T or buy a hoodie get 2 T's or something.
