Stalk It skis (???)

Wassup party people.

I found a brand new pair of these skis -

in my local gear consignment shop for a screaming deal today. I've been looking to replace my Moment PBJs which are an awesome daily driver all-mountain ski, but a little short for me.

These Stalk Its looked really cool and well-built, but I had never seen the brand name before. Some research reveals they're from Telluride and make not only skis but snowboards, skateboards, and surfboards, which kind of makes me scratch my head.

Has anyone ever ridden them? Know anything else about them? Vouch for 'em? Are they worth a shit????

Thanks!

I live in telluride and they used to have a shop. They are out of buisness now, but have homies that still rip their boards. They’re made out of corn, and they seem to hold up pretty good.

Much appreciated. I figured they were a new company, sounds like the opposite. I have never heard of anyone making skis out of corn, wtf? Will corn rip?

If you ski them on corn, yes

Leave em too close to a heater and youre going to find them in popcorn form tomorow

I found the skis online. Those are Neversummer pressed. Big giveaways: the topsheet and boot center mark. I’ve got some NS pressed RMUs and the boot center mark on topsheet is exactly the same. NS makes quality products

Scoop em. Stalk it’s seem sick. I thought they were pressed out of Neversummer (same as Icelantic).

You're the best dude! I wanna go back and test the flex on them but I think I will cop. If I do I'll report back with how they ride.

Final update for anybody who cares.

Copped the Stalk It Palmyras in a 191. Dude at the store gave them to me for an additional hundred bucks off which was too good to turn down. Mounted with Guardians (primarily resort ski but do short tours now and again). Tested them out yesterday in Jackson. It had just snowed a solid 8 or so inches, so I got a good mix of snow conditions throughout the day.

So far I'm totally stoked. Performance on pow is fantastic, they cruise over chop, and carve like a dream on groomers. The flex is a little softer than my Moments, which I like. Still really stable riding out of drops and jumps. Unmounted they feel like they're the same weight as my Moments too, which is crazy because they're 9 cm longer. I'm curious to see how they'll perform on corn, I haven't really gotten to butter them yet.

Long story short I'm glad I got them, would recommend them to anyone if you happen to find some. Great all mountain rippers.

Conclusion: corn rips.

I told you to cop! Sick cop!
