The Stairmaster's pretty much a jib board in the purest sense. Think the K2 World Wide Weapon or something like that. Here at Creek, I've seen kids hit the bigger jumps in the park with them, but I wouldn't really rely on them for hucking 7s or anything like that off 60 footers. When I picked one up in my local shop, it had a flex completely geared for jibbing and little else. The fact that the torsional flex is so soft means that it's not gonna be the most reliable thing if you're gonna be railing turns outside the park. The one jib board this year that I've heard good things about outside the park (for a jib board) has been the Rome Artifact, Transworld Top 10 for this year and one of my friends who rode one at camp this year liked it so much that he bought one for this year.
