Stabilization grips?

Ehh...

So I recently just purchased a T3i, and I am just in need of a quick easy to use grip system. Something similar to the scorpion but I want some recommendations of what works best.

I understand a flycam nano is probably overall the best, which I intend to buy here in the near future, in the meantime I just need something for a quick fix that isn't cheap and flimsy like a lot of the plastic versions of the scorpion are.

Flycam nanos are pretty solid for the price. You won't get the dreamy look of a glidecam but for like 1/4 th the cost its pretty close. Id say build something outa pvc til you can afford a flycam

False. I own a flycam nano and have used a glidecam countless times and the glidecam makes a smoother image. Period. The flycam is a pretty good contender when usrf properly its very good. But the glidecams superior build quality, more percisely made pieces and weight difference produce an overall better image. Im not dissing the flycam though I love mine

The stabilisation mechanism is identical. The only possible difference would be the friction inside the bearings however this would only be fractions of a percent and indistinguishable. The weight difference is overcome by adding a couple more weights to the flycam. What possible mechanical advantage could the glidecam have?. Maybe the effect you're seeing is placebic.

Freefly Systems MōVI M10.

Can't go wrong with that.
