St. Sauveur open till June

For those of you that can read french, St. Sauveur bought a ton of new snow guns this summer and are not only claiming this season they will be open into the month of June but gaurateeing it,

«Depuis quelques années, nous offrons la plus longue saison de ski au Québec», nous affirme le président du conseil d’administration et chef de la direction du Mont Saint-Sauveur, Louis Dufour. « Cette année nous nous surpasserons, car nous vous garantissons du ski jusqu’en juin ! », ajoute-il. La saison de ski 2008-2009 promet bien des surprises !

Not technically. You can make snow at around 38 degrees F, that's around maybe 2-3 C if the humidity is right. But if they lay down a huge base during the winter it wont matter. But good to see a resort do this. I remember when Killington would always extend there season into June. I think I remember it being open till around july 4th one year.

Saint-Sauveur, October 23rd 2008 - Snow lovers be ready, the ski season is about to begin. During the last night, Mont Saint-Sauveur’s new snowmaking system already started to blow in order to prepare the mountain for the new ski season.

We take every cold temperature opportunity Mother Nature brings us. Be sure that when temperatures will reach -2 degrees, snow guns will be turned on and we will be able to cover one trail per 24 hours. The Jay trail is already covered by a beautiful white carpet of snow.

its funny how my hill has the capability to blow snow on every run top to bottom when needed yet they close in april
 
this is avila, they don't bother looking at them half the time. Unless you look like a total gaper, but the guys that work the chairs know most of the park regulars so they might ask you to show it to them the first run but not even...
 
OH SHIT. ill try and be there if i dont have any tests or anything important. fuck i really want to go skiing
 
lol dont worry man, the guy you qouted got me excited too when he said " thenext few days" but its going to be at best a week( if the weather stays cold) i guessing two weeks and it should be good to go.

i thought staying open until early may was amazing.. this season is going to be off the hook.
