I'm going over to St Moritz in april but I have no clue about what its like over there.

Has anyone been there? What is It like? Is there even a park or anything?

Ive looked on their website but cant find anything about a park.

Any help will be appreciated and karma given.

don´t expect too much over there.. st. moritz is the place to be for the european high society.. i can give you more information tomorrow, just have to find some articles about the newschool scene there.

but if you want to go pow skiing, u get a good chance for it cuz not so many people there leave the groomers..

Mouhahaha you'll find a bunch of PRADA GUCCI and other jewellery shops up here but not that much rails to hit. But it's still SWITZERLAND so you ll find some AWESOME skiing there don't worry. Good luck

GO TO LAAX!!! its close by and about 100 thousand times cooler in terms of nightlife/scene and terrainpark. and if you want Pow go to Davos. theyre all within like 40 minute bus/train ride from eachother

Yeah but it is not that easier to go from St Moritz to Laax on one day. But if you have the opportunity to go to Laax (or Flims, on the same resort but the place (nightlife) is better) you def. have to!

I went to St. Moritz a couple years ago, and there are three different mountaints the pass is good for all of them, Diavolleza has the best steeps, corviglia has a half pipe and a terrain park, and corvatsch has a terrain park, hope this helps

As usual on Newschoolers, a lot of bullshit is being posted by people who don't know what they are talking about.

St. Moritz is rad. It's one of the sickest and most remote spots in the alps. It has some of the tallest mountains that can be lift accessed, and it is so remote that on a powder day, the crowds are so small, it's heaven compared to the horrible crowds in Chamonix and Verbier..

On a powder day you can drop in from the right side of the glacier on Corvatsch, and get sick lines all the way down. Diavolezza is also crazy.

The park is in Celerina, and it is reasonable, but nothing great. If you have a car, you could hop over to Livigno which is 30 minutes away and has an AMAZING park.

Laax is 3 hours away.

St. Moritz is way better for pow than Davos. Taller mountains, sicker lines, less people crushing it.

St.M is basically my local mountain, go up there every season. Park isnt anything too great, normally 2 jump lines and a few other features. rails are not great, but there are a few. hopefully this year they will update some of the stuff!
have fun!
