Thinking about planning a trip next week, if anyone has been up there please help a brotha out with...

Snow Coverage Conditions

Possible campsites or near campgrounds?

Only been up to the lake a few times in the past, but to long ago to remember anything specific. If anyone has any cool spots, tips, or anything to really help out the trip that would be great.

Anything Helps!

Thanks Bros!

Alright, well i haven't been up since last year but I hope to go up a lot this summer!

From what i remember there were a lot of rails and crap left under the glacier, like right before you walk up on it, and i'm pretty sure it's all dispersed camping up there (meaning you can just set up wherever you want). Good cliff jumping, it's plenty deep, but very cold as well, it is a glacier lake.

Here's the site:http://www.stmarysglacier.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=22&Itemid=29

Have fun!

i left a 12 ft double barrel and a small cannon up there last year right next to the lake. if theyre not broken enjoy.

Bump. Anybody been up there recently? I'm thinking about hiking up there and checking it out... How big is it? Is it worth camping? Are there really rails up there? +K for any answer, thanks!

this, but for this year... any rails up there yet? might bring one up with my buddy if there isnt and if we can fit it. a camping trip there would be dope

I bet all the rails are currently buried, and i bet the camp site has maad snow still. maybe set up rails at the parking lot next to old resort. As for cliff jumping, id wait a minute. The water is gonna be high this year thankfully, last year in august you would hit the bottom pretty good off the top

Just went up yesterday, the entire trail is still covered in snow, the trail right now is actually a perfect spot and slope to set up a rail. Honestly, you could ski from the top of the glacier down to parking and only take your skis off for

Summer vacation is officially underway, and i need some one to shred with! Any one else been there yet to update on the rail situation?

I'm definitely interested in skiing Mary's sometime soon. I'm from Colorado Springs but if you're in Denver or wanna meet in Denver I'll pick you up. Just shoot me a message.

Hoping to go up in a few days! I got a pretty small rail but im planning on jacking one of those really big PVC tubes too. Anyone know of rails already up there?
