SSE unfair

it's so hard to get started on the SSE...people like quebecfreeskiier have so much money that they can influence the stocks so much by themselves it's unrealistic...all he has to do is put all his money into one person each day, the price will go up, all us little people will start trying to get that stock, and then he moves his money to a different person...he get's lots, we get shit...i think the spread is totally unfair

 
mine move like 200 bucks up and down..i get nowhere...and quebecfreestyler has gone up more than 1000000 since i started last week

 
yeah somehow he got a ton of cash and now he pretty much runs the SSE. try to get on his good side and he might help you. im sittin below 800th place right now so maybe i should follow my own advice

I went from 600th or something to 65 in a day. Just start with some new stocks!

The thing is, you got to work with the big buyers like quebec to maximize your own profit. Buy a stock you think he's going to buy, and then when he does boost it up 20% then you make a killing. The most important thing is to sell before he does.

Another thing to try is at the beginning of the day, dump all your money into a single stock, and hope that people will see the increase and buy it. And hope that someone that had that stock before won't sell out due to the new increase and take the bottom out from under you.

Most importantly, the SSE isn't like conventional markets where you can buy and have reasonable belief that your investments will go up. You have to be buying and selling every day to match the flows of the market because nothing stays constant, and as of yet, inflation has not taken hold.

A side note- Cedric got all his money from a glitch in the system. The lucky bastard.

Quebec got lucky on a glitch, which is really unfair. He does have way to much influence as well. To make any money you must dump all your money in a stock at 12E, do it with a stock that you think the big hitters will buy, and try to sell it again at 12E the following day.

actually, I made like 20 k on that glitch, not much, then I was lucky cause people bought the stock I had bought.

Yeah, I had a diverse portfolio (21 different stocks) and made $200. I sold them all about a week ago, and just buy one stock a day, and in that week I've made $500. My goal is to be in the top 100 (I'm like 130 right now).
