I live in Alaska, but I'm moving to California this summer, and prabably going to ski at Squaw valley. Anyone know how the terrain park is there?

I don't ski squaw much cause it's ridiculous expensive but if I could have a pass for free to any tahoe mtn, it'd be squaw for sure. We'll be there several times next winter for sure though

It had 2 terrain parks this past season.

Well..1 1/2 really... the 2nd terrain park was the halfpipe and 3 tables.

The main park had a super pipe I think, quater pipe, shit loads of tables (over a dozen), and some sweet rails.

I was only there for one day, so I spent most of it hitting big mtn. So yea.. didn't experience the park much.

What gravity?
 
who is moving out there? anyone need a roommate? or does anyone have contacts for housing? i'm either going to baker, tahoe, or colorado. i'd prefer not to work AT the mountain...but whatever to ski...i mean if the mountain provides employee housing or whatever.

i was there for march break and yes Palisides is incredible its so awesome and their terrain park is kicks ass, best half pipe i've ever riden

yes, squaw is the best place ever! i ski there almost every day that its open, the terrain is awsome and the park is way cool, the have the best super pipe ever

 
over rated and over crowded, but thats my personal opinion. I think Alpines better and they're getting their shit together w/ their terrain park and pipe

 
as a frequenter of the s.v., (i am an employee, but have yet to work a day) i have had ample chance to session the 3000 feet of snow we have received in the weeks past, and being in utah for the past week i can only say that i am happy to be back in ca. i think im rollin up tomorrow if anyone else is... the superpipe isnt up according to the site, but they have one pipe a grip of rails, yada yada yada... but with squaws terrain, who wants to ride park?... to vc's credit squw does see its share of tourist suckas, and alpine meadows is pretty much awesome too... if i didnt have a pass to squaw, id go to alpine....
