Squaw Mainline????

So word on the street says Squaw upper management wants to wipe out the Mainline Pipe after the 48 Straight. I honestly don't see how that makes sense. Why would you knock down one of the best pipes in North America?

Their parks are killing it right now (big ups Tom) w/ a ton of great jumps and jibs. I think the biggest one is about 50 (someone correct me if I'm wrong). While that's plenty for guys like me, I don't think it's gonna compete when the masses converge on Nick's @ 85 feet just around the block at Alpine. If Mainline came back w/ jumps that size, I think Squaw could have the best park in NLT.

So either sign here if you wanna save Mainline or email squaw direct at this link:

ya unless going up there to film or something Im not paying 80 for a ticket. They def had a sick park though.

Squaw is sick, but I'm not even willing to pay my shop discount just to ride the park...

If I'm going to spend that, its going to be because the terrain is sick on a pow day.

Even then, its almost worth it to still go to Alpine or Kirkwood...

yeah they'll probably cut it down, its just really out of the way from the rest of the park but it's definitely a really fun pipe

i skied northstar's park, squaws, and alpines during this packed weekend, and i felt like squaw's was definitely the most fun. northstar was fun because of their highspeed chair and the long run of features... alpine cut down all their kickers for the busy weekend which is understandable, but squaw had a dope 3 line of a small hip-table thing, sizeable step down, and a killer step-up which was soo smooth. Squaw's chair is just a bitch though because high camp takes days

riding at squaw is all about who you know in special tickets, and if you dont have a connec dont even bother going... def not worth it.

but the green pass works really well there

Squaw definitely stepped it up this season parkwise...I was really impressed. Had like 1000 features up, and jumps were super smooth. If there was anything wrong with a jump the crew was running around constantly all day and you could ask them to fix it and they would be super down to do it for ya. Bottom line is, that squaws park was reaaaaaly fun and if you don't have to pay then definitely worth checking out.
