OK i know a lot of you were looking forward to riding 7springs this year, and so was i. I have veeeeery unfortunate news though. 7Springs forgot to pay their electric bill and will not be able to operate their lifts this year. THe mountain will not open at all this year but i do suggest supporting them and riding laurel mountain or hidden valley. I am sorry for all of our losses but I warn you, dont come to 7springs.

 
It's true, straight from Lois Dupre Shuster and Herman Dupre's mouth. They didn't forget to pay the bill, but they just got buried under so much stuff w/ Laurel Mountain and all. No fear though, my dad and Herman will be opening an outdoor ice rink to please all your winter fun. Check back never! Peace!

These threads are so dumb...what idiot wouldn't check springs website and see them blowing and posting that they are openning tomorrow...so stupid

if they are so dumb, why are you wasting your time on them? just a suggestions. but seriously, if you feared a bunch of rental gapers coming to your mountain and destroying your park...wouldn't you also tell them it was closed, because you KNOW they would believe it? yeah, i thought so

Well if you were smart you should know that a bunch of rental gapers are not going to be reading a NS thread...they probably don't even know it exist
