Hey guys, I'm looking at potentially moving to Whistler for teh spring once my season ends here at Whitewater which will be early april. How exactly does the spring skiing pass work for Whistler? When does it start? I've checked the site and can't find any dates on the skiing pass, there's the hiking/whatever pass that starts in may is that the same as what I'm looking for? Thanks for any help guys.

I forget the exact price, but it payed off within 3 days of riding. I was a youth though last year with an edge card, so that made it cheaper.

Thanks guys, whats this edge card thing? how would i get one? And do you know when this pass is effective? April, may..?

The edge card is a discount card only available to BC and Washington residents, but it takes off about $10 from the standard price every time you ski, and is cheaper than a day pass to begin with. As far as I know you can just pick one up at guest services if you're eligible, or do it online.
The spring pass is effective from mid april to the end of the season (usually last week of may or first week of june). It was this year anyways.

im not positive, but i remember hearing something like that if you bought next years pass this spring, that you could ski for free for on that pass for the rest of this season, would be a good option if your gunna be here next year as well and can afford it all up front

I heard about some deal with spring passes carrying over to next season our something for whistler, not sure though

Dont think they do student rates for spring pass. Unless you commit to buying a student pass for next season, then you might be able to get it for like $100.

There is no official free camping spots. But I'm sure you could find an area that doesn't bother anyone.
