Im studying abroad in Europe right now and Im planning on going skiing for my spring break in 2 weeks. As of right now we are thinking of skiing a few days in switzerland or france and then continuing on to beaches in Spain.

Do you guys have any suggestions for where to go?

What will have the best conditions this late in the season?

Do you know of any mountains that offer student discounts or are a good bargain?

Any other input regarding conditions, prices, or stuff like that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Also we are most likely going to be skiing all mountain and not really park, and would a good place to party nearby would be great as well

Hey man, I'm skiing Tignes, France from April 1st.! It should be really sick there, X-Games Europe just went down! There are two great parks (Swatch snowpark and Valpark) with both really great kickers and super fun rail setups.

Didn't see your comment until I had already posted.

If you're not gonna ski park, I guess you are pretty much screwed, since it is spring conditions everywhere.

yeah i figured as much =/ any idea what will be the best for its price/party scene then? and will have the most terrain open

I don't know really. I am going there with around 150 other danish guys/girls (mostly guys) on a camp. Mostly park skiers, but also moguls and freeriders too. The danish national championships in freeride is going down that week, so apart from the weather I sure think Tignes has some great BC, since they have chosen that destionation a few years in a row now.

I don't know about the prices though, but I think the majority of the campers are not that serious about skiing, so they will probably be partying and going out there. :-)
