Spring Backpacking

My girlfriend is visiting in March and this warm weather in the front range has got me wanting to get back to backpacking. Does anyone know of some good, lower elevation hikes so we could avoid as much snow/colder nights as possible? I was thinking Sandbeach Lake in RMNP. Thoughts? Or golden gate canyon state park

march might be a little early man, anything high up is gonna be snowed in until at least end of april or may. maybe check out the sanddunes. you can camp at a campsite and day hike the dunes.
