Spring! Are you progressing?

I feel Spring is the time to truly hone your skills and learn/develop new tricks in the park. Conditions are consistent, parks get soft, the weather is more enjoyable, and the vibe is more friendly and community based.
Tell a daily tale of a new trick you learned in the park:
I'll go 1st. Today I learned how to back lip disaster, into pow, next to the park, with my backpack on. Stoked. Not the most stunning example of what this thread is for, but hey.

I finally got the balls to try my tricks on the bigger jumps in the park. I found out that it didn't hurt that much to eat shit on the step up at bachelor, so i did some 1s and 3s on it yesterday. Super stoked!

lip on both 270's out of that down rail before the bigger jumps and cleaner blind 450's out. yes!

i actually rode park without a camera or backpack and just rode for the third time since december of 2007!!!!
Ha i was stoked, it felt weird, but unfortunately i definitely got worse since when i actually rode :(.

yesterday i just hooned in my grabs and tweaks in my 3's and 5's pretty well

and earlier in the month i finally got the balls to learn some superman frontflip!

I took the opportunity to try and clear the biggest hit on I park. The one most of the way down before the hip and stairs. Came up 3 feet short. I had enough time in the air to call myself a stupid idiot before impact. Need a guinea pig.

I decided to quit straight-airing bigger jumps, and spun some 3s over the big side of the second Rose City table at Meadows. Felt awesome to spin slow with some good hangtime!
