There was a thread about this a bit ago but I cant find it. I want to make some clothes and Im just wondering whats the best spray paint to use. Also what makes a good stencile and does the material of the shirt matter? Also about washing, like does it bleed.

DONT BUY LIGHT SHIRTS, the heavier the better.

also, make sure you get automotive paint, it is thicker and doesnt soak into the shirt as much

in my art class me made shirt logos

theres some rubber stuff u put on a slik screeen then u rub ink over it then iron it ....that works

go to your local big craft store. you can buy blank shirts, plus this paper you can put into your printer that you iron onto the shirt and its sick

Is that iron on stuff better than spray paint? Does it look like any other shirt if you do it like that?

It really isn't hard and it doesn't matter. I make stencils out of overheads and standard paper, you just get it ready and use any can, just make sure you have the can the right distance, you can figure that out on your own... it's trial and error

 
I looked around for some bland shirts but I can't find any. I found some really thin crappy ones at walmart and that was it. I need hoodies and t shirts.

Silk screen is the way to go. For our local fair we made tshirts that said 'i love carnies' and we used the iron ons. They did not work well, as my shirt is cracking and starting to peel after 4 washes.

iron on design works well for me. it doesnt look exactly like screening, but its much cheaper

line has a hoodie out this year that looks almost exactly like that, but it has a dude doing a daffy.......

how does the screen work? and outta the three what would be the best, spray, iron or screen.
