Spray Painting Bases

Anyone ever tried this themselves? Got some old armadas that im using for street and I wanna know how doable painting bases is. You just wax and scrape over the paint once its dry? Seen it done a few times in vids.

I’m no Dolan, I know next to nothing about bases, but I don’t imagine that would lead to very good sliding, they’d probably feel really sticky. But for street that might not matter as they’re gonna get beat anyways

just on the off chance that OP isn't kidding, or a reader doesn't realize it, this is a terrible horrible no good very bad plan and will not work

unfortunately i'm speaking from experience (not that you need to see it in real life to know it's a bad idea). we were spray painting our skis one day when i was like 13 and my genius friend did his bases as well. pretty sure those skis never slid again

Got it!!

Spray paint em.

Then this.

**When you have sliding metal-on-metal parts, but can't use regular lubes because they attract dirt, this is the answer. It seems to get into the pores of the metal and make them naturally slippery. You can really feel a difference. It's also great for sliding plastic...**
