anyone have any good recommendations for physical therapy? I'm coming back to school on Sunday and need to find a good sports rehab place to do PT on my ACL
i went to brent hamblin at the avenues sports therapy center, it's on 9th ave, up by lds hospital.
he was super super rad, a climber and skier himself, and really let me push myself hard without going to far.
really nice guy too. he took the time to explain to me what exactly was happening to my knee as the graft healed, why each exercise was important, but not just with bland "it builds muscles" reasons, he went into the anatomical and physiological aspects of it.
i liked him so much i went back to school to be a PT
i had united healthcare and they were a provider for them so it was all taken care of by insurance too.
I did some PT at Sports Med Utah at Salt Lake Regional for my MCL. I chose it randomly because I didn't know where to go, but I don't have any complaints. I liked it. Here is the website if you want to take a look. http://www.sportsmedutah.com/locations_Contact.html
