Realised there isn't a thread dedicated to gambling on Newschoolers. And thought I'd create one to discuss upcoming sporting events, odds, winnings, losses and all things gambling.

Some current good bets which are paying rather well that I've got are...

Joel Parkinson to beat Jeremy Flores at $1.70

Wiggolay Dantas to beat Sebastian Ziets at $2.35 (upset)

Andino to beat Durbidge at $1.45.
 
I've bet on horses a little bit. I had a trifecta for when American Pharoah won the triple crown that was one spot off (the horse I had coming in third came in fourth). Would have been a nice payout if that horse had finished one spot better.

As far as I understand it, it is very difficult to bet on professional sports in the US unless you actually go to a casino. I may be wrong, but this is as I understand it.
