Sponsorship

Im tired of buying new skis just because they get damaged... Im on my third pair and those have also got broken... Now my question: What would i have to do to get a sponsor? What type of sponsor could i maybe have? (acording to the tricks I can do)

1.) There are fifty million posts about this, refer to those first

2.) IF you are good enough, and eneter comps, companies may come to you.

3.) Send a video showing why you should be sponsored and how your are gonna represent that company.

4.) Ski Sponsorships are a lot harder, and more rare to get. If i were you i would send shite to EVERY company that you like that makes twin tips. Line, salomon, dynastar, whatever. Just be repetitive and show why you should be sponosred.

5.) look at the other post first about sponsorship before posting your own

youre right about line. jason lev is my art teachers son and when we were waiting one day after a ski trip for our parents to pick me and my friend up so we just started talking about line.

jason and mike nick used to take old skis at first and just cut them to make them really short then go to the local middle school and set up jib boxes wiht picnic tables. when jason went to college he went for business i believe and for his final project he decided to make skiboards. he bought all the stuff to make htem and set them up in his garage and thats how it all started .. so yeah he made them. haha

who the hell doesnt want to get sponsored shut up stop bitchin on an internet forum and go ski or somthing holy shit

If you can do all the tricks you say you can, enter some comps and I'm sure someone will pick you up. Props on the Lincoln tail, I've always thought that would look sick but I've never seen one. You should post a video of it.

there are different levels of sponsorship, usually: pro-form (discounts), product (where you get free or greatly discounted product), and pro (you get paid to ride their shit and they pay for travel and photo incentive, etc). there are different levels of each, too. some companies will give you product and photo incentive, or just give you pro-form so you'll stop bugging them. they usually thow proform around some what losely, mostly because they get so many stupid kids who only want a free pair of skis so they can tell everyone they're hooked up. said kids give no indication of providing anything for the company, so they toss out pro-form if they're good enough to get them off their back. the ski industry is not the snowboard industry...everything is business, you can't just send in a video and expect free shit, you have to pretty much put together a full on resume/proposal to porve to them you can do something for them, not just them doing something for you.

ok everyone says that if you enter comps and do well then sponsors will come to you...yes this is true but only for comps like the Anti-Gravity Grail, X-Quals, US Open...etc. And i am talking doing good like making the finals of the US Open, in case you havent noticed the list for the finals were ALL PROS except for Junior, and he might even be pro now...so good luck. Your best bet is to make a video/resume and send it to every company you can think of...you might get lucky. O and skiing companies are the hardest to get sponsored by (except for money sponsors), goggles are the easiest followed by clothing, in my opinion
