Spongebob, Ending?

I heard from somebody that spongebob is going to end soon, is that true? I know some episodes suck soooo bad, but spongebob is still one of my top fav. shows. Is it true?! I hope not, it only been on for like 11 years.
 
11 years is a long time for a tv show. Most of the new episodes are awful, they kinda dumbed down their humor, or catered to all the obnoxious little kids watching it now a days. Patrick is not as funny now, he's just stupid.
 
Totally agree, the first years of Spongebob were good humor, on par with the good old days of Rocko's Modern Life and Angry Beavers.
 
spongebob went the same way as scooby doo. they ruined scooby doo. I'm back to watching good old bugs bunny

it's a good things its been on for over ten years, the re-runs will last a lifetime.
 
spongebob is the work of slightly twisted animators and writers. which is why i love it and will watch reruns until the reruns are reruns of reruns
 
Yea the old episodes were definatley better and although patrick was always dumb in a way he was actually funny, but now they took it too far and gave him a bad case of the downs.

I watched the winter treedome episode the other day and it was the first time I loled at spongebob in a couple of years.
 
one thing that never gets old.

in the band episode as they practice marching a birds eye view of all the fish then in the middle a huge gray rectangle that happens to be pearl.
 
yea the episodes these days are so stupid havnt watched it in a while might now considering its cancelled.

They had to cancel it sometime... Better now than to leave it and let it get even worse like the Simpsons.
 
well my multimedia teacher used to draw for spongbob in the earlier years and then he said that some of the people that work there turned into total dick heads but he still has a connection with some people there are he said they arent ending completely.. just not putting out as many shows

mayo is disgusting, but alright. my car is always a fucking mess anyway so i don't really care, and it's manual with a fucked up shifter. enjoy.

my birthday is november 12, i like ice cream, and im in utah almost all the time so if i need a place to crash in logan, i expect an open invite.

the creator of spongebob, and a couple of the other people from the show, made a pilot episode for a show that was going to be on adult swim called korgoth of barbaria. it was fucking awesome, and very twisted.
 
I saw like one episode some years ago and thought it was fucking pointless. Not like empty, stupid stuff which could be entertainment but just stupid.
 
I'm 17 and I LOVE spongebob. If this ends, I'll be so sad.
