have you tried apoxy? I think thats how you spell it. Depending on how badly its split put that shit on and then put it in a vice over night so it gets good and hard. If it is badly split you may have to put a screw in the end of it....looks ugly as shit put keeps it tgoether for ever.

epoxy, apoxy, whatever works for you

no doubt i put the epoxy on and it was all good till i left them in my car over night. the cold temps made them split again.

MF'rs.

thanks for the help.

Im still trying

Same thing happened to me. Riveting doesnt work. Duct tape might do the job, but once the tip is split, the ski is pretty much done.

use a industrial strength staple gun and bolt that fucking ski to its self nice and proper!!!

If you use a combanation of pop rivet and appoxy,

it will hold forever no matter what,

1st drill a small hole to get your rivets throught, then....

put the appoxy on, then right away do up the pop rivets,

it helps if you use clamps and vice grips just to line everything nice and cleanly,

then if you want the core look, put a layer of duck tape for style.....

epoxy would work my dad spilled some on our driveway and its been there for years. We tried hitting it with a hammer but then when it broke it pulled up chunks of our driveway

epoxy, duct tape, get new skis or... the best thing... if your skis are still under a sort of warranty send them back and they will do it for you

I had an old pair of F8s that shattered the tip so bad that i had to use duct tape... then i put a screw through the tip,, not a rivit mind you a screw then i had a coat hanger wrapped around the screw then wrapped around another screw near the middle of the ski just to keep the tip from digging into the snow. And when it would get wore out i would just take a pair of pliers and twist the hanger until it was tight enough to hold the tip up again. It was sweet, really stupid lookin' but it worked. Did i mention i'm from Indiana?

Later,

Tad
