SPK Pro vs. Kaos

I put 2 seasons on a pair 1st generation spks(white/black) 85 flex

The boot fits my foot really well but it was too soft. The Spk pro and kaos both have a 95 flex but are like a $100 apart in price. Is it just that doofy leather on the pro that makes it more?

What sets theses boots apart other then the price?

Also for people that have used both the 85 and 95 was there a noticable difference?
 
the only difference aside from the leather cover is that the pro has a more customizable liner and toe cushio, which the kaos lacks. i would probably save the money and do the kaos, but the better liner might be nice
 
For this coming year Kreation is 90 flex, Kaos is 100, and pro is 110. Look on the salomon site and look at the specs. Probably not worth tons of extra money for the best spk though.
 
The Pro Model is heavier, but has shock absorbers for your toes and a flex index of 110

The Kaos has shock absorbers,but not in the toe box, it's lighter and a flex index of 100

the Kreation only has shock absorbers under the heel, same weight as the Kaos, a flex index of 90

I would choose the Kaos.
