yoo. i have the SPK pro model 2009 and im getting really bad shin bang. Im not riding back seat or under rotating. But it may be because i got a custom heat liner for the boot and it looks way thiner than the orignal liner. I cant find the oringnal linner because we moved houses and it was missplaced. What do you think the problem is? thankksss!

well if the liner your using know is thinner than the old one, the boot has more volume to it so your foot and leg can move around more inside of it. try taking that space up with a beer cozie cut down the side and placed flat in between your shin and the inside of the liner. you could also find away to make sure the liner is tight around your calf and that it cant really move inside the boot with out flexing it. those two tricks worked for me, but if they don't for you theres a whole bunch of other threads on shinbang with a bunch of ideas for stopping it.

I have SPK's but i think there are 07's or 08's. I'm using the original liners, haven't changed them at all or even taken them out and I have had no shinbang. Of course I only ride park 40% of the time so maybe I don't have any b/c of that

Hahaha this was complete sarcasm btw.

However, I got full tilts and have never had shin bang since. I feel like I land more back seat now than I ever have.

welcome to my life. I think it may have to do with how the tongue is positioned on your calf. I find that the tongue on my SPKs is angled a little toward the outside of my foot, therfore when i land i hit the side of the tongue instead of the direct middle.

I have the same problem as you, when you find the cure, let me know

my old SPK's traeted me so well! but I sold them in favour of the rubber toe! It Is so awesome yet my shinbang has increased to immeasurable levels and I am not sure if I will possess legs in the coming weeks! Fuck full tilts! My plan is to add the Eliminator aswell as boot warmers. I shall report back with results.

get your liner re molded and don't tighten your boots down as much. when you mold the intuition the tighter your boot is, the less foam you're going to have in it. so if you tighten them less the more foam.

and get a booster strap those helped me out a lot.

cheers.

YES!!! I am mad as fuck!

All other boots dont feel right! I am on the brink.

I have never had this before and it just gets worse. All the shin bang threads are BS! it doesnt make sense.

try putting a varis heel wedge on the outside of ur heel, this will put ur foot up on an angle, and making it more in the middle of the tongue when u flex. also take a heat gun, but do not apply it directly to the tongue or u will melt it, but wave it over the tongue, and then flatten the tongue out to make it wider.

the fact that you just said outright the next boots your buying will be fulltilts indicates to me that you arent getting fitted. id be willing to bet thats the problem, you bought a boot that doesnt fit your foot.

yeah makes no sense, going from a 105 last to a 98-102 last depending on if he goes with the newer wider ft's. still, just a stupid thing to say. perhaps a boot that is not specifically made for park is something u should look into. there are plenty of boots out there.

I'm the inventor of the Shintronic (www.shintronic.com). It is not only about preventing 'shin bang' (which they do almost 100%), but you will enjoy the power. grip and control effects as well. Not happy, just reply! We made some changes by leaving the outer padding away this season (better fit, less volume, less pressure) and we provide an optional elastric strap preventing sliding up. If you have any specific questions, do not hesistate to ask via info@manoove.com . We receive very positive reactions from the Park etc.
