SPK boots out-of-park performance??

Ok, it's pretty obvious that everyone loves the SPK boots for the park. I've been using FOIL boots for the past few years and they are great all-round...how will the SPK's compare? Will they be annoying ski on out of the park? Is the stance/lean very different? Thanks

they are fine, definitely still soft but unless you are a heavy dude that is seriously charging a line, i think youd be fine

i love mine for everywhere. they are really soft like everybody already said, but if you just tighten them up a little they work perfectly.

i love mine, i had pressure in the bridge of my foot but i got the plastic grinded down some and there sick

bottom line is that they're amazing everywhere IF they fit your foot.   the level of comfort they offer is so high i still can't beleive it.     go get properly fitted, because a poorly fitting boot will make or break your season.

I dont wear any socks...LOL, I dont wear anything but my bare feet!! Just make sure that you keep your legs warm! On cold days I only wear a liner with my SPK's. Like you say, it's all about what you wear, NO COTTON or sSUPER think socks!!!!

Thanks, deffinately going to get fitted but I just wanted some extra opinions from people who've actually used them.

I have used thenm I LOVE THEM I use them for all mountain. I had to shave mine down a little so I could get into the stupid boot but after i did that it was smooth sailing from there!!!

I love mine in pretty much all conditions. They are quite a bit stiffer than the foils (despite what Salomon's flex ratings say), so if those have worked as an all mountain boot for you, the SPK should only be better. You'll never notice the slightly more vertical stance. Mine have been plenty warm too.

the spk pros are just sick looking i need to get new boots, spk's are definitely on my list of boots to try on as well as krypton's

I have foils and there wayy to flexi, I can bend them so much they scare me, if people are saying that Foils are better all around then SPK then that makes me beleive that SPK's are way to soft.

ah... SPK nad SPK pros fit the same so i went and got fitted for the SPK and found my size and then orderd the spk pro and now they are being shipped here

When I tried on the foils i could flex them so easily that the fucking buckles would unhook! They felt like complete mush. You'd have to be 95lbs to make those things work. the SPK is quite a bit stiffer.

They are just fine out of the park. I could of got them last year but the fucking shop guy talked my dad out of the SPK and said it wouldn't be any good in the pow so i got the foils instead. But the foils are fine, just not as light.

no shit, which is why i'm gunna try on multiple pairs of boots and see what fits best, i'm just saying those two are on my list, as well as the technica agents, and the nordica superchargers and a whole mess of boots

theres three different superchargers and they all fit completely different. blower is sick but super narrow, ignition and spark are wider and softer, but still pretty sick

the leather would do alright i was talkin to a shop guy today the leather has a clear kinda plastic around the edges of it the only thing that might get fuck it above the tong below the bottom buckle its cloth and with like mutes it mite slice that up

chill man, it didn't really sound like it. it looked like you were comparing those two boots together and those alone. Just trying to help.
