Spirit Opening (hopefully)

On their site it says "We are hoping for some more snowmaking weather on Wednesday and our goal is to open the slopes on Friday, December 4th at Noon. Watch here for status updates as the weather cools down and we fire up the snowguns!!!"
There is a Winter Storm Advisory for duluth right now and it osnt supposed to get above 30. So its pretty safe to say they'll be opening. What im wondering is will there anything will be set up? i know it took a couple weeks for them to set up two boxes but is there any chance they'll be faster this year?
 
I don't get why they don't throw a little box or rail up? It takes virtually no extra snow and will make everyone so much happier. I understand it takes man hours to set it up. but honestly shouldn't take someone with any brain more than an hour to haul and set up a box... $7.50 for an hour of work= lots of happy customers. Who's on the park crew? - also I'm not sure on liability and such but park crew volunteers?? I would gladly head up early Friday morning to help shovel some snow...
 
haha dont even try. spirit is the laziest place on earth. there a joke. yes it takes so little time to do... so why not do it? cause there retarded. they dont listen to what people want. unless its tourists. i think last year the duluth superior alpine team help with all but like 2 or 3 features to set up. (complete volunteer) they dont take the park very serious. or it doesnt seem like it at all. i wouldnt be suprised if we didnt have a park untill january this year. maybe even mid to late january the way the weathers acting.

Your comments about rails and boxes have been discussed with our Terrain Park Crew. We will have some non-snow features available as SOON as possible. However, because we will have limited runs and snow space available early on, we can't guarantee anything for opening weekend. We appreciate the offers to help, but it's more an isssue of safety and amount of space available to all of our guests.
guess that means not to expect much for a couple weeks again this year. sigh.

if they decide to open tomorow the hill will open at noon
 
^ Definitely not- was up there a couple hours ago grabbing my pass and all the snow is still in giant ice whales- Definitely not going to get my hopes up for any "non-snow" features tomorrow
 
spirit was pretty fucking tight today, the side booters were pretty fun but only one run was open and it was pretty crowded.
 
oh damn u missed me i left at 4 haha ill be there tomorrow. ha how was the comp? sorry im talking like i know you but im just really stoked.
 
anyone know if theyll have anything set up saturday? they are going to have a rail jam on the 13th(according to their site). is does that include skiers because it says it is sponcered by FOD and Burton Demo so im assuming not.
