Spirit Mountain - Duluth

I heard it is too. I think they said it on the local news. So stoke!

troll is worth the drive, they'll have their big park open this weekend, possibly with a cannon rail and the quad

And I still have to wait till thanksgiving weekend for Detroit to open...

In the same boat, probably wont be skiing on a mountain until the beginning of december

I might show up Saturday, checking up on my cabin Friday night before winter starts and will hopefully swing by on Saturday.

spirit park is arguably the best park in the midwest, agree / disagree, would love to hear it! plus, halfpipe is back and plan is to re-open this weekend....looking sweet

Exactly what I would say about Giants Ridge (their pipe returns too! With rails included!). Best in the Midwest? If only granite wasn't a major rival to everyone.

My deal with granite though is that they are so damn expensive. So it isn't a place many of us can go. Spirit has a killer park, awesome community, and is pretty cheap.

Spot on. "Best" is subjective, it's all about what you like best. There's something about Giants Ridge that just draws me to it so much. Not sure what it is. I really love spirit too. Both are my favorite in Minnesota.

Agreed. I really need to get out to Giants. I would say that Spirit is the best overall park in Minnesota all things considered (Price, Atmosphere, Jumps, Rails, Location).

valid points, and well stated. as for the 100 Footer at Spirit, word is it will be installed next week!

That rail is one of the reasons I make a trip to spirit in February each year. Can't wait.
