Yes, they also help the fact that doing corked tricks off the ground make you super human.

Any activity that helps your air awareness will help your air awareness skiing. For example, all summer and fall I've been throwing 3s and 5s down every staircase I walk down, unnatural, just to get used to it. I can't tell the difference between sides anymore, and I know it will make spinning that way easier on skis.

its all about practice, On or Off the hill. It all helps. Its why people use trampolines in the summer time. It also helps you get over the mental side of somthing if you can do it on ground first.

yea it def does, i pretty much trick off everything i can like 450 on onto street curbs or couches or like off axis 7s i jsut throw in my kitchen to cork 9s i throw off this ledge in my backyad, 2 years ago all i threw were just 5s and last year on snow i had the steeziest 5s, its all abt practice

haha! I never did more than a 7 on the ground (of a ledge) but I 360 over fences and off staircases...it def helps
