Spinning Both Directions?

I can only do certain tricks certain directions, some tricks come around easier if u try them unnatty. Also if u only learn to spin one way all your footage will be redundant asf and boring

I feel like riders who judge others on something so minuscule as “can he spin it both ways tho?” are just trying to put others down. And will inevitably just find something else to bitch about. So who cares? Do what feels right.

I can't spin either way, equally.

So I had to select yes, in spite of the fact it says I am so core. Apologies for that.

I spin to the right switch and to the left forward. Mostly because I look over my right shoulder when skiing switch

I don't think its a minuscule thing, spinning both ways is another way to have more tricks in your bag. Of course being a dick to somebody because they cant spin both ways is wrong. I personally am slowing down on my progression so learning tricks the opposite way was an easy way for me to have some more fun with things that I can already do, plus it makes you well rounded. Also if somebody is putting you down for the way you are skiing you should probably find new people to ski with :/

Spinning both ways is an illusion. All the edits you see with someone spinning both ways use stunt doubles.

if you can f2 and b2 then you spin both ways. btw how is spinning both ways core?

The core part was just a joke haha. Spinning f2 and b2 wasn't really what I was getting at, rather off of jumps being able to do l and r cork 7

See I feel like with rails doing stuff un-natty is just part of the game if u wanna progress, but yeah with jumps if you wanted to spin every trick left I guess nothing is stopping you. I don’t have the comp jock mentality that u should be able to do every trick both ways, I honestly just think if u have a mental block or can’t do something one way trying it a different direction might surprise you. One of those left brain right brain things

Yeah, when im watching clips of back to back tricks and there all spun to the left its kinda a turn off. (flip the clips in post) 00

I try to learn unnat so that I can do tricks on certain features where spinning natural just is way harder. For example I spin left normally, but say there's a side hit that curves to the right, it's much better to do a right 3 off it. Ally oops are sick but sometimes harder than an unnat spin.
