always fight a ticket

you might win, you might lose, but either way at least you have a chance to get away scott free. And if its a big ticket, you typically have anywhere from 2-6 months to save up to pay it (if you lose in court they can require you to pay the fine in full before you leave).

i got one on the fifth day of having my full liscence. i was goin 135 in a 90(kph) but the cop lowered it to 105 so it didnt effect my insurance or anytihng.

I've had two speeding tickets. One was a six-point ticket (out of thirteen) for doing 76 in a 55, $262. The other was just a week before I moved for doing 75 in a 55 in a work zone (double fines). The cop could have shot me to hell with over $3000 in fines and three days in jail, but instead he just gave me an $82 ticket and marked it as going 9 miles over the limit in a non-construction zone.
