so i used to be really into biking, but havent had a bike now for close to 3 years. anyway i wanna get back into it and was looking at the specialized P series bikes.....they seem like theyd be great bikes for fucking around and having fun, and not too bad for DH. i was just wondering if anyone has some opinions on these bikes,....especially if they are able to be ridden XC, and any thing else noteworthy about them....

not worthy for cross country at all. they blow on anything that has a slight uphill. but for fucking around on they are great. make sure you trade your shock in for a dirt jumper 1 though. the entry level shock that comes on it blows balls.

Picture a pasture open to all. It is expected that each herdsman willl try to keep as many cattle on the pasture. when a herder adds a cow to the pasture, he reaps the benefits of a larger herd. I got rid of my at the end of last summer, but the bike is so sweet I was using it for XC riding every now and then like little 20 mile rides It worked fine If you get it you might as well up grade the forks because they suck bad.

Let's face it, no one posts anything serious on NS, and even if I wanted to, it would be answered by some not-so-clever variation of the following:
