Speakers for Editing

So my 15 year old speakers that have been beasts for me and free are officially dead. I am looking at getting a new set between the Mackie Cr3 Studio Monitor speakers or the Logitech Z506 5.1 surround sound speakers. Need some insight to help make this decision easier.

I fortunately do have a decent pair of headphones. The reason I want speakers is so I csn bump music in my apartment as well as showing videos to multiple people and the convenience of speakers is nice.
