Spatchulas

spatulas=Reverse sidecut&reverse camber Volant ski designed by McConkey. Riding it in anything other than powder could probably be considered suicide. I think they're out, in limited availability, but I'm not sure on that.

oh yeah, i was thinkin about those skis yesterday, and was wonderin, do they have edges? sounds like the would use fins, cause they are gon fo the whole surf board design

East_Coast_Style...yes they do have edges, but yeah they might as well have fins, they look like a fuckign waterski! i got to hold a pair in Vail last month, some guy had them out on a powder day there, they just RIP when it comes to powder, this guy could plow through ANYTHING with them. he wasnt too happy about skiing them on groomed runs though, but what can you expect. They're a sick ski, I wouldnt recommend getting them though if it's your only pair you have...unless of course you live in Alaska...hahaha. A good powder ski though, i wouldnt mind trying a pair on a good powder day.
