Spam bots on NS??? (weird pm's)

How the fuck did this happen? Seems like a lot of hoops to jump through technically speaking for some silly shit like this. making fake accounts/ posting in forums/sending PMs?

I can only imagine the code and time that went into this worthless fucking creation.

I guess just letting the site admins know, but I am sure they already do.
 
happens a lot, best thing you can do is pm a mod telling them whats going on, they're normally pretty quick in taking care of them
 
jamelia specifically is old news but they pop up every once in a while. just PM the mods with the message and username and it's handled
 
Hundreds of these aliases are created daily, and there's no real way to prevent them.

We're usually pretty good at catching spam bots before they can post too many threads, but we can't prevent them from sending private messages.

Like someone said, the best way to address the issue is to PM a mod, and the spam account is immediately banned, permanently.
 
hey! i've also been receiving spam message from a bot, its username was jenifa, or something like that.
