looking for some more guys/gals to ride with this year.. didnt get out alot last year hopin to ride 70 days this year.. let me know if your in the area.
 
I gave up on crystal. I know will is trying to make the park better, its just management isnt giving him the funds. They fucking get a new chairlift, what a joke. put the money into something useful.
 
yeah i agree, but they can solve that other ways. dont have lessons start at the bottom of loki, that makes it a ton more busy. plus, it seems like there revolving the resort around little kids. new lift means god apperance, especially with a magic carpet that takes you to the lift. they need something that attracts a mid aged audience, like us.

but I'll try to ride weekends, no possible way that i'll be able to go during the week.
 
I decided Im going to try and make an edit this year.. looking for talent. Anyone in the area who wants to do urban or park scenes let me know. Also if your going out west bring a camera and get some shots if you want to help out with the short ski flick. Last thing I feel like you need to be over 17. I don't want to deal with parents.

Let me know if your interested.. I got a few hook ups and other friends involved. We are gunna try and ride some urban once or twice a week. Hitting up Pine Knob or Holly park a few nights a week. I have a snow gun at my house and a rail set up with a hip jump and a quarter pipe.

As for cameras and filming. I have 2 GoPros, a Canon 60D, Panasonic HMC150, Canon HFS100, some other SD cams as well. I have a Glidecam, Shootgun Mic, baby death fisheye, 15ft Camera crane with remote pan tilt, wireless lav mics. tripods with fluid heads, and a R/C Heli that can use the gopro or Canon HFS100 to film aerial shots. Also a very powerful editing computer fully loaded with software.

let me know if you need a second filmer. i also have a DSLR setup. and whats the point to being 17? if you have a car, whats the problem?
 
I dont have a personal problem with anybody under 17. I just dont want to deal with kids that have curfew or get grounded the day before a planned jib cause they got a C- on there math quiz. If you can commit to a schedule and you have a car by all means join in.

I have 3 sets of 2 lights 500w halogen each. in order to power them you need a pretty big generator... I also have 3 soft light boxes which use CFL lights and require much less power. I prefer to use those unless someone wants to carry around a big generator.
 
how big of a generator are we talking? cause i could get one thats pretty fucking big from my summer job, or borrow it from my uncle
 
This guy knows what he is doing, I know first hand. I'll be around and participating as much as possible.
 
How'd I miss this.

I'm a freshman at U of M this year. Starting up a small freestyle club this year so we'll have a group of kids if you ever wanna come hit urban in Ann Arbor. We don't have a car at the moment but we're working on trips and shit to Apline Valley and other places around the area.
 
a few clowns came to the MSP film premiere the other night hosted by don thomas, they all went to u of m and mentioned they wanted to do some sking this year. they came dressed as gapers. not sure if you are one of them.
 
Definitely was not me at that premier.

But I'll be up there the day after Christmas. I don't have a pass this year but I'll be out there at least for break and a weekend or two..

 
Yeah i got some rails around ann arbor as well. Other than that, I am 16, have a pick up, and am for sure want to ride with you guys..
 
yeah i used to ride crystal pretty frequently, i like like 3 hours away, but my parents own a condo up there. i will prob get up there 3 or 4 times this year.

I dropped out of the IA and now I'm going to Lakeland, the IA was taking a trip, I did not like their setup at all last year, so i wasn't going to be to bummed, but its looking good for this year!
 
too bad im 14 and definitely will get grounded when i get a c- on my math quiz. i know ive seen some of you guys skiing already this season at holly. stoked to see what you guys come up with.
