Sound not working on macbook pro?

Yeah so my sound isnt working, i tried playing around with the volume and all that basic bullshit. I can hear sound through headphones when i plug them in.

This happens quite often and the sound usually just starts working again at random. I did nothing for it to stop working. I just came home and its like this.

Sounds like it's probably a loose conection. Bring it into the apple store and they can check the connections inside free of charge.

I had an issue with the screen on my mbp a couple weeks ago. Brought it into the apple store, they opened it up and saw a cable was being pinched, problem fixed and I was on my way without paying a dime. The computer wasn't under warranty either

Same thing happens to mine, I looked into it and I think it's pretty common with a few of the generations

yeah mine does it every now and then as well. i just give it a lil bit and it will come back.
