How come every time I log into soulseek there's only about 1000 people logged in? How am I supposed to steal music if nobody is ever logged in? Did this community just die, or did I miss something?

you must have a pc, i used to used soulseek, got a mac and switched to solarseek...then something happened and that and died and now i use ssX which currently works better than both of the other programs did
but to answer your question, torrents have caused so many people to switch (i still prefer my file sharing programs) that the amount of people online has decreased across the board, its pretty shitty

Thank you. Like everything else, I'm late on jumping on the torrent bandwagon (though I'm sure I eventually will). What I really liked about soulseek though, was the ease to aquire full albums.

Most torrents are full album ZIPs or RARs, but I still prefer DLing from rapidshare/mediafire.
