My uncle lives down town and we never watch it in person. We ski all day and then order pizza and watch the xgames on tv. Haters gonna' hate, but since no ones on the slopes and Aspen often gets a lot of pow, it is some of the best time to shred Aspen, Highlands, and Snowmass.

Ya but skiing stops at 4 and a lot of great events are on at night. It's way more fun in person, what's the point of even going to Aspen during X if you aren't going to watch in person?

Every time we've gone in person has been a "disappointment" because of the difficulty to see. Watching pipe is alright, but you can only see a hit or two in detail.

This includes big air. When we went to see Simon and Jon duke it out, we could literally only see tiny figures fly through the air. It's really a tv event if you ask me.

I also live in Steamboat, 3 1/2 hours away, so it's not like were flying and spending a grand or two on flying.
