So my mom shrinks all my stuff in the wash on purpose. not that i wear extra big stuff, just sometimes its comfy.

who else doesnt get support from their parents?

word. YOUR IN CONTROL OF YOU OWN LAUNDRY. and OP its easy as hell. put the cloths in. add detergent. click a button. take clothing out. hang up to dry

my mom tries to keep me home longer when i'm home for the weekend by doing my laundry. I need to stop telling her when i'm leaving because she'll start my laundry just before than because she knows i'm blining from my bed to my car.

too add to what everyone else said, laundry is one of the easiest chores you get assigned around the house. all you have to do is pick up your dirty pile of clothes, put em in the washer (add soap), press the ON button (usually normal wash setting) and wait. then you move them to this device called a dryer, which inexplicably dries your clothes

noooot the point of this thread, probably shouldnt have made this when all the kids my age and still living at home are at school. i would like to know who else doesnt get support for skiing park and such from their parents, and how they deal with it.

GOD I love you. (no homo) People need to realize that tall-t aren't gonna make you a better rider.

Shrinking your clothes doesn't mean she doesn't support your riding, it means she doesn't support your looking like an idiot.

Your mom just doesn't want you dressing like a jackass in an everyday setting. Buy some cheap regular shirts and pants and wear those during the week and keep the idiotic tall ts for the hill.

if i didnt read the thread.... how would i have seen his post. i hate it so much when little noobs try to pwn people that have been on NS longer than they have been skiing.

when im home from school and my mom decides to do my laungry she shrinkes all my super big shit so it doesnt look as 'gangster' 'hood' 'thug' and 'ni*gerish' but i usually just leave my super big shit at my house at school so she dont see it

oh for sure, i really dont wear my big stuff unless i am skiing. but even then, they hate everything about the park and they hate that i do it and spend all the money that i make on new skis and such. i really dont know how to deal with it.

thanks for taking this thread seriously.

everyone's jumping down the guy's throat just assuming he dressed like a total idiot. which is possible but there's also a chance that he dresses pretty normally for today's standards and his mom's being sort of a bitch (no offense) and shrinking his clothes. that would be annoying

stash big clothes under your bed

put baby clothes in your closet with a note saying "now look what you did"

Thats a shitty deal, my parents support that I ski, they love the sport as well but they have to desire to help me out with it and that sucks. need new boots so my feet stop hurting and my step dad wont pitch in 75$ I have to pay him back. I understand that getting in a habbit of paying people back is good, but I thought they might be stoked I want to take care of my feet and get new boots rather then a new jacket just for looks.

back to topic.. hide your bigger stuff after you wash it some place in the closet your mom wont look? im sure she wouldn't actually hunt it down to try and shrink it more, that would be way to bitchy.

lets back this up a bit.... we can already assume since the OP is complaining about his mom that he still lives at home which leaves us with 2 options

A. OP is stil a kid

B. OP is an ussecessful adult

Because i doubt B very much since he is making a thread about this lets go with option A

Your mom probably likes stuff that fits and because you are living at her home she likes you to dress a certian way. Now either confront her about it and tell her you'll do your own laundry or live with this....

yeah, thats what ive taken to. i just would rather have a general understanding of the whole situation between me and my parents, they dont bother me and i dont bother them. i just have no idea how to reach this with them.
