Guess what kiddos. As some one who has working in terrain parks for better part of a decade, here's a surprising fact.
Terrain parks are nothing but money pits.
Resorts do not make a profit off their terrain parks. Sinking a bunch of money into them, will not bring a return of their money.
By bringing a large sponsor into your park, it will most likely increase insurance rates for the park. It will most likely increase maintenance costs for the cats in man hours and fuel.
Here's one of my quotes from another thread, that I think it pretty relevant to this thread:
-"When was the last time you went to a resort, payed for 4 full price lift tickets, bought lunch for 4 people, payed for a couple lessons, spent a couple hundred (or thousands!) in the ski shop, and ended up the day with a couple rounds of beers for everyone?
Fact is, park rats show up, usually try to scam a lift ticket from someone in the parking lot or get a hook-up from someone that works there, drinks PBR from their trunk. MAYBE orders some fries and eats 1/2 pound of the free pickles and saltine crackers."-
