I just bought one. My old hd pov cam fell off while kayaking this summer. I am trying to learn this new cam, and spent a few hours going through the handbook. Shot some test footage and it doesn't look that great. Do I need to start messing with the pro settings? Anyone have one of these for awhile?

ohhhh an actioncam. use it without the case when you can, it helps a bit. I'll write up a bit more tomorrow when i'm less tired

Thx. I think I figured out some of it. Filmed some stuff this weekend and the outdoor footage was fantastic. Colors were amazing. Indoor footage was not quite as good, but I think I need to start messing around with scene and color settings. Looking forward to any tips you have. Also just bought the chest strap mount for it. It's pretty high profile on a helmet mount, if you mount it straight on top, and it seems to weigh more than my Drift Ghost did. I've seen some mounts where it is on the side on the helmet.

No, we all use Arri Alexa 65's these days.
