I always run into the problem when making my edit on what songs i wanna use. Lmk what songs you have used in edits or what songs your are currently listen to. (Slower music, Rap Music, Old classics) Just anything you with think would sound good in a ski edit

I currently listen to Da joint by EPMD and think it seems too perfect. Don't really know if it has been on any edits before

Ill def give it a listen when im done with school but the song sounds familiar

I think you're missing the point homie. Making an edit is a creative process that should reflect the creator. Use what speaks to you, forget about everyone else.

I've got you covered with several years worth of music...

However, saying that you're looking for "anything that would sound good in a ski edit" is like saying "anything that you could dance to." There's infinite options and it all depends on your vibe and style of video, just like how different songs fit better with different dance styles.

You pretty much can dance to anything and almost any song can work in a ski video.

Here's some fun beats to start you out with:

All those songs I just posted are fun to mix since they're fairly instrumental and have room for other vocals/ songs to be layered on top of them. This can make those songs more exciting and energetic and help them transcend between genres. Here's an example of this type of layering:

One big reason I learned to mix music was to make custom flowy soundtracks for videos. Hit me up if you want some custom work done or feel free to use sections of the mixes I upload.

Pretty much this. Try watching and listening to a bunch of different stuff to see what you really like and keep an open mind. I like to listen to albums from a group I like so this way you can find less known songs that can work well in an edit. Just use something that you like, it'll make the editing that more fun. And don't worry too much about if the song is too known or not

Coastin - zion I

Caged bird part 1 - zion I

Sail -awolnation

Bangin songs that deserve to be in edits.

This dude knows wassup. Also, if you releasing for Instagram or YouTube I would suggest anything that’s released under the Warner/UMG label. Those guys are super cool about using their music for free internet promo.
