Something that's good for moguls?

not looking for a full on mogul ski just looking for something that's better in moguls than my 116 wide skis, looking for a more centered mount and at least a partial twin tip. don't really know what to even look for

my dads got a pair of declivity 82s that he uses for mogul oriented all mountain skiing and like them

on that sort of ski I have sorta considered trying to demo a brahma but I'm hoping for something a bit more twintippy than that

Call me crazy but a center mounted ski will be horrible in moguls. If it's not a full twin, then I highly doubt it will be center mounted either. Are you looking for a moguls only ski? Or what other applications will you use it in?

I was trying to say something where recommended is -5ish vs recommended at -10. basically I'm looking for a sorta skinnier all mountain twin tip that will work better on firm days and moguls than 116 under foot skis

Head Kore’s are 10000% what you are looking for. Stiff and can shred through and snow, moguls or chop or pow or groomer. i ride the 111’s and they rip anything i charge through, but my dads 93’s are insane for smashing moguls and charging though chop. also insanely light, charge super hard and are sturdy and little swing weight for when you are throwin tricks

Where did you mount your kores? I know recommended is super far back but it looks like some of the athletes mount it further forward

I mounted my 111’s 4.5cm forward of recommended, pretty sure that’s still like 4.5 back from true center. They ski insanely well, for charging, honestly i ski quite a bit of park too and i would maybe want to go 1 or 2 cm more but i think anywhere 3cm-5cm forward of recommended is perfect

I used to ski the 117, mounted mine +2 of rec and really liked how they skied, even as someone who's traditionally always skied full twins. With how light the ski is overall, I never felt like the swing weight was way off balance due to mount point, and popping and landing still felt really intuitive and predictable. I personally wouldn't really feel the need to mount further forward than +4 or +5 on the Kores, but some of my homies like to mount their flat-tailed directional skis at dead centre, so it's whatever floats yer boat.
