The shirts I have to wear for work have really large neck holes and i don't like wearing an undershirt underneath it cause it gets way too hot. is there by chance anything that gives the appearance that your are wearing an undershirt, but really all you are seeing is the collar sticking up?

Well Howard always wears huge v neck sweaters with what appears to be an undershirt with a turtle neck. In one episode he takes off his sweater and its just a piece of material draped over his shoulders with a turtle neck.

Cut the top/neck part off of a shirt then sew it to the inside of your work shirt around the neck hole. Get it done at a dry cleaners and it will look clean + last a long time.
