Was up at Sheffield today. How the hell do you ride that pipe? its fucking impossible on the snowflex!

The kicker is nice though.

Yeah, you can't really carve, which is why its such a bitch to ride the pipe, as you just can't hold an edge at all.

And its fairly soft to land on, but you get wicked bad friction burns if ur jacket rides up, or if ur wearing short sleeves or whatever.

But when u live here, you can't really complain!

The Masters is on teh 9th-10th Oct, this year. As far as I know there an't any NY Sushi parties this year.

If you want a party at a comp this year its got to be the 'KSM Showdown' This Sunday (29th) for 7pm-1am.

I think there is one in Oklahoma or Texas, not sure though. I remember reading about it in Ski many years ago.

The first link has a lot of sheffield photos. I used to ski there back before they even put in the halfpipe. I won a university bumps contest there like 9 years ago. yay. Two 360's took the win. Nobody else spun on the day. Shit has progressed a lot. GOod to see the UK representing.
